Lo encontré. este pequeño montaje realmente útil / código cuando se busca una forma sencilla y libre de convertir un DataSet a Excel - no podría ser más fácil, sólo una línea de código necesaria para la conversión, aquí está la línea que estoy utilizando:
DataSetToExcel.Convert(ReportsDAL.GetSummaryStats(10, Page.FromDate,Page.UntilDate,Page.MailClientId,0,Page.MailAppId,( int)Page.MailJobStatus),Response);
